Diana Hamilton is a leading voice in contemporary African gospel music. She is a gifted artiste whose vocal ability has positioned her as one of the industry’s best-loved talents. As an astute songwriter, she has become one of African gospel’s most talked-about talents across the world. Diana is an incredibly gifted Holy Spirit filled songstress who takes her calling very serious.
She has a strong desire to draw people to have a deeper and meaningful relationship with God through her music. She is an inspirational worship leader who has had the opportunity to lead worship across the world. Her ministry has taken her to various countries including USA, Italy, Belgium, Canada, Ghana, Holland and Germany.
Diana developed a profound passion for music at a very tender age, which has led to a celebrated journey. She has 4 hit albums to her credit and released her fifth album titled “iBelieve’ in September 2018 which is receiving tremendous airplay. The video to the ‘Mo Ne Yo’, the title track of her latest album, has over 3 million views on YouTube. In October 2018, Mo Ne Yo was number 3 on the AstepFWD UK Gospel Music Charts. Her inspirational songs continue to encourage many across the world. She has received nominations for several awards and has won the following awards to the glory of God: Best Artiste Europe at the Africa Gospel Awards 2011, Best Female Vocal Performance at the Ghana Gospel Industry Awards 2012., Best Female Act and Best Gospel Act at the Ghana Music Awards Europe 2012, Best Female Artiste at the Africa Gospel Awards 2014, Trailblazer Awards at the African Gospel Music & Media Awards London 2017, Winner-Wise Women Awards 2017, UK (Woman in Music Ministry Category), Community Award- African Gospel Music & Media Awards 2017 and 2018 Best Song, National Gospel Music Awards.
Diana volunteered as a peace ambassador in recent elections in Ghana. She has also been involved as an advocate for ‘Healthy Lifestyles” in Ghana and also supports various charitable causes through her foundation (Diana Hamilton Foundation).
She was born to the late Apostle Felix Antwi, a former Executive Member of the Church of Pentecost, and Mrs Comfort Antwi. She is the third of eight siblings and is married with a set of twins.
For Diana, it is an honour and a privilege to stand and lead God’s children in the art of spiritual intimacy through music in all genres. She understands that worship is what brings the overwhelming presence of God. Testimonies of relief and hope characterise her ministry.. She believes her music ministry has a key role to play in edifying, encouraging and exhorting the saints as the coming of the Lord draws near.
Diana enjoys cooking and designs her own fashion. She remains a mentor for many upcoming gospel musicians. She also finds time to mentor the youth in her local church.
