Alvin Martin Slaughter, born on July 17, 1955, is an esteemed American gospel musician, worship leader, and singer-songwriter.

Hailing from New York City, Slaughter’s musical journey began as a member of the renowned Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir until the early 1990s. It was during this time that he caught the attention of Integrity Music, leading to the launch of his successful solo career.

Throughout his illustrious career, Slaughter has garnered numerous accolades, including nominations for several Dove Awards, and has graced the stage of the TBN television network with his soul-stirring performances.

In his personal life, Alvin is happily married to Joy Slaughter, and together they call New York home.
